	David Bellamy is known for his atmospheric landscapes and this book will not disappoint. The book is aimed at the beginner / novice watercolourist and explains in some detail most things from materials to finished paintings. There are 4 demo's - shore side / reservoir / cottage and farm all distinctly Bellamy style. This is a good basic book with clear advice - 64 pages.

	An easy to understand instruction book on the most difficult of subjects, painting people. Each chapter starts with the basics before progressing to more advanced details. Chapters include - The face & head - skin & hair colour - character & expression etc. etc. The only chapter I was a little disappointed in was "skin & hair colour", with a chapter so named I would expect some colour mix examples to get me started, unfortunately there was none. All in all, a very good book.

	This book shows you step by step how to paint what I would call unusual watercolour subjects such as night time scenes, glowing candles, exploding fireworks etc. Things I would normally associate with oil painting and certainly not watercolour. After reading this book I now know how these layers are built up. Great book lots of step by steps.

	If you need someone to hold your hand and explain every minute detail to you as you paint then this is the book for you. This book is great for building your confidence as you can't really fail to achieve impressive results by following the step by step instructions and colour mixes, you can then, carry the techniques over to your own work.

	This book opens up a whole new dimension for watercolourists. Ray's style is incredibly realistic whilst still looking like a painting, and this book really shows that you can do so much more with watercolour that just washes. Lots of step by steps throughout. The cover picture says it all, excellent book.
