Well my recent post on Facebook (4th July 2025) about someone saying my art was not real art caused a LOT of discussion and response lol But THIS is more important Leave the heated discussions up to the others. In the meantime pick up a pencil or brush and do what makes YOU happy. Whether throwing paint at a canvas to depict energy or applying tiny details to challenge yourself to make something hyper-realistic, both have the same benefit. they take your mind from the past and the future and put it firmly in the now. We all know the benefits of mindfulness, the scientists have proven it time and time again and the ancients knew it thousands of years before them. Well what do you think things like art are doing? They put you into a state called FLOW, when you lose yourself in creativity and time disappears for us. Flow / Mindfulness / a meditative state, it doesn't matter what you call it, it feels good to just be. We put way to much value on others opinions, and far to little on what feels right inside us. Do what heals you, you already know what it is.
