I got back into art after a 32 year break & started following & watching Jason’s tutorials which are so inspiring & so easy to follow. My art has got so much better & this has done wonders for my confidence too. Not only in my art but in general life, which was one thing I never expected! So I’m eternally grateful to you Jason. I was unfortunately made redundant last month so I decided to set up my own online art business doing pet portraits. I was only able to do this because for the first time in 52 years I “BELIEVE IN ME”. I’ve loved every minute of my art journey- it’s been life changing!

I found Jason Morgan on YouTube about 6 years ago. I had always wanted to paint the big cats and other wildlife but couldn’t find a tutorial that showed the whole process from start to finish. Then I found Jason’s videos. I felt as if I had struck gold. I immediately joined his Patreon group. Jason shared knowledge and techniques and a complete approach from beginning to end in a simple and methodical way that anyone can follow. From absolute beginners to advanced artists. I have learned so much over the years and as a result I have been able to exhibit my work in 4 full solo exhibitions and sell a large percentage of them in the process. I have never looked back since finding Jason. My whole life and approach to art changed and it just keeps getting better. I recommend Jason’s tutorials and Patreon to any new artist, beginner, intermediate or advanced because there is something for everyone. Jason wants his Patreon members to gain experience and benefit from his lessons so that they can go on to enjoy their own artistic journey whether it be for pleasure or success. Thank you Jason for all you do.

These two pieces I’ve done on my own but I still love working from Jason’s tutorials to gain as much pastel knowledge and experience as I can. I stated working on pastel drawings when I retired. I had been drawing mostly with colored pencils and wanted to add pastel to my daily drawing. Being able to be at my drawing desk everyday in retirement makes this 69 year old lady very contented!

One of my latest piece, you can use my profile pic of me. I'm a member for a few months now. I was a member of an other drawing group but I didn't learn so much because it was always drawing from the first to the last stroke. With your lessons I started learning to choose the right colors (or the wrong one) I started your lessons but real fast I took the dive to complete them myself. I've learned so much. And sometimes I love to do a lesson like the Christmas bunny.

As a child, I was always sketching animals… but then life happened, and I took a 35-year hiatus from art. Six years ago, while scrolling Instagram, I came across the work of Jason Morgan. His pastel wildlife portraits stopped me in my tracks. I remember thinking, I want to try that… I wonder what I could do? My husband bought me my first set of Stabilo Carbothello pastel pencils, and I completely fell in love. I practiced for months, eventually joined Jason’s Patreon, and worked through some of his tutorials, learning so many tips and tricks along the way. Six years later, I’ve come further than I ever imagined....I show my work at a local Gallery in my home town and I have won awards for some of my work! If you feel the nudge to try something creative, follow it. It’s never too late.
